Personal data policy regarding recruitment

When you send a job application to TeesuVac (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”), it is important to inform you of our policy regarding processing of personal data.

This applies regardless whether your application is an unsolicited job application or the application is based on a job posting.

When you apply for a job with us, we will only process your personal data to process your application.

1. Personal data and use thereof
1.1 We will only process personal data about you that you provide us when you send us your application or otherwise as part of the recruitment process. The collected personal data typically includes:
– Identity and contact information; first and last names, address, email address and phone number;
– Information about your educational background;
– Information about your previous and current employment;
– Personality test.
1.2 The personal data will only be used and kept to conduct a recruitment process and in connection with a potential employment.
1.3 Taking up of references
1.3.1 As we have a legitimate interest in finding the best candidates for a job with us, we may take up references from former employers, education establishments or other relevant third parties. We do not take up any references without your prior consent.
1.4 Sensitive personal data
1.4.1 We do not collect any sensitive personal data, including health information, without your explicit consent.
1.4.2 In connection with employment in a position of trust, it may be relevant to collect personal data from a third party regarding your financial circumstances (e.g. from a credit rating agency) and do an extended background check.
1.4.3 If it will be relevant for the position you apply for, we will obtain your content in advance to collect information and do a background check.
1.5 Personality test
1.5.1 As part of the recruitment process for certain positions, we may ask you to take a personality test.
You will be informed about this in the job posting or during the recruitment process.

2. Sharing
2.1 We may share your personal information with third parties who assist us in connection with the recruitment process, including recruitment agencies, providers of personality tests, etc.
2.1.1 The sharing will only take place to the extent required and to those who need it in order to facilitate the recruitment process.
2.2 In addition, we may share your personal data if we are obliged to transfer your personal data to public and legal authorities or to share your personal data with those authorities, including if we are to report information to the public authorities.

3. Erasure of your personal data
3.1 We will save your application and any other information you have provided to us until the recruitment process has been carried through and completed.
3.2 If your application is rejected, we will save your personal data for a maximum period of six months after the rejection has been sent to you.
3.2.1 If we want to save your application for a longer period for the purpose of a potential employment opportunity at a later time, we will obtain your consent to do so.
3.3 If you are employed, your application and any other information you have provided to us will be saved during your entire employment and for a subsequent period.

4. Your rights
4.1.1 You are at any time entitled to be informed which personal data we have collected and keep and process about you. If you request such information, please contact us by email or use our main telephone number.
4.1.2 You may at any time request rectification, make objections or limit the processing of your personal data.
